Steve Crow member of the GCCF Genetics Committe, who consulted on the new breeding policy, and author of the final document "Overview & implications" a talk, and discussion, regarding the newly published GCCF breeding policy document, and considering what it means for breeders, in practice. to be followed by a short talk by Alwyn Hill as a representative of Breeders Assistant (Tenset Technologies) & manager of a current, large, pedigree database. Considering how database programmes can assist breeders in calculating co-efficients and researching pedigree data.
this talk replaces the previously advertised lecture concerning Feline Homeopathywhich Mrs Duffy has graciously agreed to defer to Forum 2012. For those disappointed, we offer apology but feel that the new breeding policy is a a current issue of high importance which should be addressed. Mrs Duffy has kindly agreed to provide a series of articles to the Forum online, which will be publishedperiodically in the coming months, and we trust you will find these of value
and completing our "line-up" .... Lucy Brett from Ceva Feliway, who will discuss the issue of stressed cats
we will also welcome 'Behaviourist in Residence' to the Breeders Forum Katie B Wade BSc Hons (NAC EBQ FBQ) Katie will be with us throughout the day, and will be happy to chat with visitors about approaches to behavioural issues
